How do you keep your spirits up as the light fades and the temperature falls? We asked Positive News readers to share their strategies ahead of World Mental Health Day
Autumn. Falling foliage, fading light, earthy colours; that tinge of nostalgia for the summer just gone. For many, it’s the most beautiful season.
For others, it’s also tinged with anxiety about the encroaching winter; the long nights, the cold days, not getting out the house as much. And now, of course, concerns about heating homes, keeping the lights on, rising energy bills.
It raises a question: how do you look after your mental health as winter approaches? That’s what we asked Positive News readers ahead of World Mental Health Day – and this is what they had to say.
Thanks to everyone who responded.
