Be inspired to try your hand at the forgotten skills our grandparents took for granted. From how to keep bees to how to make cheese, the Soil Association is offering the opportunity to learn from master bakers, butchers and beeswax candlestick makers in a revival of all things rustic. Classes include the art of willow weaving, the techniques of curing meat and sausage making, herbalism, sheep husbandry, yarn spinning and eco-knitting, hedgelaying, how to keep chickens, produce honey or grow the best in organic fruit and vegetables. All classes are held in the beautiful surroundings of one of their organic farms. All you have to do to join in is become a member of the Soil Association.
