What if the media reflected what actually matters to you?

That’s the question we’re exploring at Positive News, and we’d love your help answering it.

We’ve always believed journalism should shine a light on what’s working in the world, because what the media focuses on shapes what people believe is possible. Now we’re asking a bigger question: how can Positive News better reflect the values, needs and hopes of the people it exists to serve?

To find out, we’ve launched a seven-week listening project called Positive News: What Next?

Each week we’re releasing a new survey in our newsletter. You can catch up on any you’ve missed, or work through them all below. New surveys will be added to this page each week, and each takes just a few minutes to complete.

Positive News already exists to serve its community. We’re structured as a community benefit society, a form of cooperative. This project is about deepening that purpose by listening more carefully to the people who make Positive News possible.

If you’d like to read more about the thinking behind the project, our CEO Sean Wood has written about it here.

Thank you for taking part and helping us build a media organisation that truly benefits its community.
