Lost music by Nazis’ prisoners will be performed for first time

The pieces, some of which have never been heard before, will be performed in Jerusalem this month

Music written by people at Nazi concentration camps will be performed at a concert in Jerusalem this month, some pieces being heard for the first time. Italian composer Francesco Lotoro has tracked down thousands of songs, symphonies and even operas that were composed in concentration camps, forced labour camps and prisoner of war camps before and during the second world war.
