Bristol’s first eco-wedding fair

Bristol’s first eco wedding fair will take place on 7 September 2012

The event will showcase 20 independent, ethical businesses from the South West, including: Alistair Sawday, Rachel Goodchild, Arch House Deli and Copoazu, which can help couples create their dream eco-friendly wedding.

The fair takes place at Riverstation, a restaurant on Bristol’s harbour side known for its green credentials and which is a popular wedding venue. The event is being organised by Michele Jetzer, national winner of the 2012 Best Wedding Co-ordinator Award, and is supported by The Natural Wedding Company.

Riverstation will also being hosting workshops, run by Red Bird Makes, teaching brides how to make their own eco friendly props and wedding invitations. The event will include impromptu theatre performances and a solar cinema will be screening black and white wedding films. There will also be a pop-up hotel, courtesy of Wedding Yurts.

The wedding fair is open 11-4pm and is free to attend.
