Top female entrepreneurs earn 17% more than men

Positive News

Women entrepreneurs today are earning more than their male counterparts according to a report published in January

Women who own businesses earn almost 17% more than men in the same position, indicating a trend reversal compared to female employees, who earn nearly 15% less than their male colleagues.

The figures, compiled by Barclays Wealth and Investment Management after a global survey of more than 2,000 of their clients, show that women entrepreneurs are better rewarded as their earnings are determined by the growth of their business, rather than salaries negotiated with bosses.
